Our Story
Born in a Back Shed on the South Shore.
Hearth & Harbor started in 2018 when founder Claire Mello couldn't find home goods that felt genuinely coastal without being kitschy. She started hand-selecting pieces from small makers around New England, selling from her back porch in Marshfield.
Today we work with 40+ independent makers and carry over 200 products — but the rule hasn't changed: if we wouldn't put it in our own home, it doesn't make the cut.
